The family-owned Hotel Schlicker Munich is situated near the shopping district of Munich, nearly a 5-minute walk from the sprawling 200-year-old Victuals Market. Featuring 64 rooms with views of the courtyard, this 3-star hotel is not far from the Haus der Kunst.
The hotel is notable for the central location merely 450 metres from Isartor train station, and offers access to the central square "Marienplatz", which is a mere 300 metres away. The Schlicker Munich also lies in proximity to the Alpine Museum. St Peter s Gothic Church Peterskirche is around 10 minutes on foot from the property. The nearest tube station is Marienplatz, situated within easy reach of this Munich hotel.

The warm Bavarian hospitality and cozy atmosphere instantly made us feel at home. the central location, a stone's throw away from Marienplatz, provided the perfect starting point for exploring the city's landmarks and attractions. The delicious Bavarian breakfast buffet was a true highlight, offering a wide selection of freshly prepared fruits, meats, and drinks. It was the ideal way to fuel up before a day of sightseeing in Munich. the cheerful breakfast room added to the inviting ambiance, making each morning a pleasant experience. Our room in the rear building was modern and well-equipped, although we missed having air-conditioning. However, the quiet surroundings ensured a peaceful night's sleep, making up for any minor inconvenience. Exploring Munich was made easy with the convenient services provided by the hotel, such as tour/ticket assistance and complimentary Wi-Fi. the city's vibrant Viktualienmarkt, just a short walk away, treated us to a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and flavors. And for those who enjoy outdoor activities, the availability of free rental bikes was a lovely touch. Overall, Hotel Schlicker exceeded our expectations, offering a perfect blend of traditional Bavarian charm and modern comforts. It was a pleasure to stay at a hotel where the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service truly made our experience unforgettable. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here, creating lasting memories of our Bavarian adventure.
